Modern Cave Art

I like to think of my paintings as modern cave art, the oldest style of painting there is. Some 40.000 years ago people like me put images of elegant creatures on walls. And they realised that the human mind makes them move, perhaps helped a little by flickering fires and shadows. My friend Li Wei tells me that he has experienced a similar effect from my paintings.

We don't know why these ancient works of art exist, very much like we don't know why the Mona Lisa was made. Was it magic, or like a blog? It might have been just for fun, or maybe these paintings were a way to give back to the community.
